To participate in Pinnacle Education's Virtual High School programs, these are the minimum computer hardware & software requirements:
PC (IBM compatible):
- Pentium II (233 MHz minimum, higher recommended)
- Windows 98 or higher
- 128 MB Ram (512 MB Recommended)
- 56 kbps Modem or High Speed Internet connection (High
Speed recommended)
- Monitor set to 800x600 resolution (1024x768 recommended)
- Internet Explorer (web browsing software) - 5.5 or higher (Click here to download )
- Our courses require the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to complete written assignments. If you do not have these programs, we recommend OpenOffice.org.
- Adobe Shockwave Flash player (Click here to download)
- Quicktime Movie player (Click here to download)
- America Online Web Browser is not recommended

Because of the browsing capabilities used by American Online,
we suggest that you do not use AOL's browser for logging in to our courses.
The simplest work around is to log in to your AOL account, and then use
Internet Explorer as your web browser. We also do not recommend other
browsers such as Safari or Firefox at this time.
