Pinnacle Charter High School -- Nogales offers students within the Nogales area an opportunity to take high school courses that many of the schools in this very rural area are not equiped to offer. Because Pinnacle Charter High School is small, our staff can give more individual help to students. This type of classroom environment fosters more serious students to finish their classes with minimal distractions. With our online program, the course offerings is much broader than what would otherwise be available in this area.
Our school also offers flexible hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. The morning and afternoon labs are 4 hours, Monday through Friday, while the evening lab is 5 hours, Monday through Thursday. This shorter school day allows students flexibility and an opportunity to maintain employment or personal needs. Our site has certified teachers as lab managers to help students and is supported by learning specialists and aids for students who need one on one help. Because of the small size of our campus, all of our staff members get to know the students better.
Pinnacle Charter High School - Nogales provides students with additional opportunities to learn and serve. World of Work is a program where students earn school credit for being employed. Personal & Career Exploration helps students develop useful and much needed skills such as budgeting, job interviewing, and conflict management , skills that will help them in the "real world". At Pinnacle, we strive to help our students achieve their high school diploma, but also find success after high school.
