Spanish Instructor (12-Month)
Part-time position available - Monday – Friday –Hours may vary-some Saturday hours on a rotating basis
Hardy VLC - Tempe

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: Our instructors are responsible for the instruction and facilitation of student learning with online students. Instructors provide tutoring, student assignment feedback, communicate course and school requirements, augment courses in order to meet student remediation and enrichment needs all of which create an exceptional student experience.  Additional objectives may include completion of administrative tasks, and participation in professional development activities.

JOB FUNCTION: Instruct and facilitate student learning via internet, grade student work and provide individualized feedback that solicits further engagement in the course.  Provide tutoring and identify adjustments based on students’ needs.  Set deadlines and grant extensions to promote student engagement.  Interact with students in live Elluminate sessions, or through personalized emails in order to answer academic questions and assist in course success.   Use asynchronous and synchronous tools in order to aid student success.  Answer incoming phone calls to assist parents and students with academic questions including progress reports, positive feedback, grades, and students concerns. 

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: Must be able and willing to work from our Tempe, AZ location.  Previous experience in the delivery and/or participation of online instructional programs is desired; exceptional customer service skills; familiarity with a variety of virtual/online learning concepts, practices, and procedures; proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet browsers; strong written and verbal communication skills.    Efficient and able to manage time well.  Must demonstrate ability to follow through on tasks.  Previous experience teaching high school specifically as a Spanish teacher is preferred.   Experience working in an educational call center highly desired.


Senior Enrollment & Registrar Manager
Full Time – Hardy Office

JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: The Senior Enrollment & Registrar Manager must demonstrate proven leadership skills; articulate a shared company vision; effectively manage the office of enrollment, registration, records, and compliance; and is responsible for all operational & management activities associated with the department.  The manager will develop a strategic plan to address student enrollment, registration activities, data collection/dissemination, records confidentiality, state audit protocols; assuring quality of testing and implementation of system updates.  Ensures reporting requirements are completed in timely and accurate manner to fulfill various legal obligations while maintaining reliable audit trails.  This position is responsible for overseeing the collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records within FERPA guidelines, e.g., grades, registration data, transcripts, mid-term verification, athletic eligibility and ADE audits.  Provide leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services offered through Registration and Records.  The Manager must display an effective & positive approach for leading, coaching and developing each team member based on facilitative leadership and definition of best practices, resulting in increased overall performance.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:  The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree, (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 5-years previous relevant experience leading and building effective teams.  Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills, sound decision making and analytical skills is preferred.  The manager must possess the ability to direct projects across multiple business units.  Experience in a multi-campus educational setting is desired, knowledge of NCAA eligibility requirements is preferred.  Must be proficiency with Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel.


Personal & Career Explorations Instructor
Full Time - Nogales

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: The PCE Instructor is responsible for the development and effective delivery of engaging and appropriate instruction in the areas of job preparation, diversity, and substance use, abuse addiction. This position provides student support in the areas of teen emotional behavioral challenges, social skills and education development. Programs and support are based on the specific needs of the students enrolled at each site.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree, Secondary Teaching Certificate or Counseling Certification is highly desirable; Previous experience (two years preferred) teaching and/or counseling teens or young adults; previous experience or involvement in community service groups or projects; demonstrated leadership relationship building skills; excellent listening skills; excellent verbal, written and behavioral communication skills; previous experience working with a diverse group of people (socioeconomic, culture, social diversity, etc.); has a high level of initiative; has a high level awareness of teen social issues with previous work experience in this area being highly desirable; ability to be strong and assertive as well as compassionate; has a keen sense and ability to read people. Bi-lingual skills are preferred.
