Courses taught: math, art.

Why he likes to teach what he does:
Mathematics, science and technology are all important skills for students to have in order to get a good job and have all that they want out of life.
Best part of teaching:
I really enjoy the whole learning process. I like the personal interaction with students and the autonomy of the job. I also like the challenge of working with curriculum and instruction in the virtual environment.
Teaching style:
I try to challenge the students while still being supportive. I focus on the positives with students and speak to the different learning styles a child might have.
Best teaching moment:
Each year at graduation I really enjoy sharing the experience with families. It is great to observe the price that is apparent among students and families. The exact moment is probably when I get to shake the hand of a student and his or her important family members.
Why Pinnacle works:
Online learning has much more flexibility, which greatly helps the students I deal with. Online learning also challenges students and is harder than most people think.
What would students be surprised to know about you?
I like to play the banjo, skateboard, and snowboard.
Other careers you’ve had:
I worked at a mountain resort in the Colorado Rockies at a gift shop and I got to snowboard a lot, which was an interesting job and experience.
Other interests:
I like to spend time with my family. I have two little girls and a boy . My hobbies are playing the banjo and snowboarding when I can find the time. My goals are to make the time to hangout with my family as much as possible and to enjoy the experience of raising my kids.
