Some came to Pinnacle Education so that they had the flexibility to hold down full-time jobs or to pursue a sport or other passion. Pinnacle Education was founded in 1995 as an educational development program for students struggling in the traditional high school setting. The program combined computer-assisted instruction with social skill training and workplace development, and soon was recognized for its ability to keep students in school and for its overall excellence.
Since that time, Pinnacle Education has opened new high schools, added to the faculty and attracted thousands of new students. In 2003, Pinnacle Online High School came online and began offering the unique Pinnacle education to any student with a computer and Internet access.
